How to play Wordle in English

The goal is to find the daily five-letter English word in up to six guesses. Every guess must be a valid English five-letter word.

What do the colors mean?

Tips for the daily Wordle

RETOLOCO Wordle is a daily five-letter puzzle. Each guess gives clues about correct letters and positions, so use the information you have collected rather than relying on intuition alone.

How to read the tiles

Green means the letter is in the answer and in the correct position. Orange means the letter appears in the answer in a different position. Grey means the letter is not used in the answer, taking repeated-letter rules into account.

Plan your six guesses

Early guesses should test different common letters. Later, keep confirmed letters and avoid positions you know are wrong. If repeated letters are possible, consider that before using your final attempt.

  • When does it reset? The daily puzzle changes at midnight in the Europe/Madrid time zone.
  • Can I return to the same puzzle later? Yes, the daily game is saved in this browser.
  • Are my results published? No. You can choose to share them, but they are not automatically sent to a public leaderboard.
